The artist
Rising Latin infused country artist Andrea Vasquez blends her love of modern country with her Latin American roots to create a sound that is both fresh and empowering. Dubbed “Country With a Little Tajín,” Andrea earned Grammy consideration for her single “Waste of Gas,” featured on her El Camino EP, released October 17, 2025. The song premiered on WSM Radio, received airplay on Apple Music’s The Ty Bentli Show, and its official music video was featured on CMT Music, peaking on CMT’s 12 Pack Countdown. Andrea’s growing résumé includes performances at Bridgestone Arena and features in Billboard, GRAMMY.com, MusicRow Magazine, Nashville Scene, Rolling Stone, and The Washington Post. She was also named part of Apple Music’s Class of Color Me Country and has appeared on WSM Radio, NPR, The Ty Bentli Show, and more. Beyond the stage, Andrea is cofounder of the Country Latin Association alongside Angie K and host of the Latina in Nashville podcast, which spotlights Latin and Hispanic country artists from around the world. Through her music and advocacy, Andrea is helping create space for the next generation of country artists who share her heritage.
