The artist

Noeline Hofmann, a 21-year-old country artist hailing from the Badlands of Southern Alberta, Canada, is "one of popular music's fastest-rising breakout stars of recent memory" (The Tennessean). From bittersweet ballads to gritty barn burners, Hofmann brings the glowing expanse of the Plains to the stage, drawing deep inspiration from her experiences working in honky tonks and as a ranch hand across the prairies. In the midst of a breakout year, Hofmann released her acclaimed debut EP, Purple Gas, this past fall, which led Rolling Stone to praise, "It’s hard to ignore Hofmann’s potential in country music", while Billboard declares, "a uniqueness that is making Hofmann an artist standing out in a crowded crop of newcomers." The EP includes singles "August," "Lightning in July (Prairie Fire)" and “Purple Gas,” which originally gained attention after Zach Bryan asked Hofmann to record it with him as a duet for his album, The Great American Bar Scene—the first time he’s ever recorded another artist’s work. Additionally, Hofmann was recently selected as an Amazon Music “Artist to Watch,” an Apple Music Canada “Up Next Artist” and a Shazam “Fast Forward Artist” and was included in Spotify’s Radar Canada: Best of 2024 roundup, in addition to receiving Horizon Female Artist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year (“Purple Gas”) and Video of the Year (“August") at the 14th Annual Alberta Country Music Awards. An engaging live performer, Hofmann has spent much of the past year on the road including her recent Stagecoach Festival debut as well as shows with Turnpike Troubadours, Charley Crockett, Colter Wall, Wyatt Flores, Zach Top and Shane Smith & The Saints.
