Tyler Rich

Tyler Rich, a country singer-songwriter from Yuba City, California, grew up surrounded by music. Influenced by his mother’s love of country and inspired by his uncle’s guitar playing at family gatherings, Tyler developed a passion for music early on. By age 15, he was playing guitar and writing songs, fulfilling a childhood dream of performing alongside his uncle. After college, Tyler moved to Los Angeles, where he honed his craft with guidance from songwriter-producer Darrell Brown and The Monsters & Strangerz. This mentorship helped shape his songwriting and led him to embrace his country roots more fully, focusing on acoustic, guitar-driven music. His early release, “Radio,” gained traction and earned him opening slots for major country acts like Cole Swindell, Dan + Shay, and Sam Hunt. In 2015, Tyler relocated to Nashville, where he secured a publishing and record deal within 18 months. His debut album, Two Thousand Miles, produced multiple No. 1 hits on SiriusXM’s The Highway, including the gold-certified “The Difference,” along with “Leave Her Wild” and “Better Than You’re Used To.” These successes helped him build a strong following and accumulate over half a billion global streams. Now an independent artist, Tyler has embraced creative freedom while working on his sophomore album, Poppy & Iris Deluxe. He took a unique, fan-driven approach to shaping the project, sharing song snippets and gathering feedback from fans, friends, and family to help select tracks. What began as a 12-song plan evolved into a 22-track double album, reflecting his excitement and artistic independence. The album blends country and rock influences and emphasizes themes of living in the moment, personal growth, and the sacrifices required to pursue dreams. Songs like “Whiskey Go Bad” encourage appreciating life’s everyday moments, while “Give Up To Get It” reflects on the trade-offs of chasing a music career. Tracks such as “When?” promote a carefree, seize-the-day mentality. Tyler’s personal life also influences his music. His relationship with his wife, actress Sabina Gadecki, inspires songs like “Leaving California,” which captures the challenges of their long-distance lifestyle between Los Angeles and Nashville, and “Damn What a Woman,” a tribute to her emotional impact on him. Over the past decade, Tyler has evolved into a confident, self-directed artist.
