Over the past decade, Shreveport, Louisiana native Willie Jones has grown from an X Factor competitor to a regularly viral performer to an artist co-signed by Beyoncé via collaborating on her 2024 “Cowboy Carter” album track “Just For Fun.” The flamboyant and buttery-voiced crooner is renowned for songs including “American Dream,” “Down by the Riverside,” “Get Low, Get High,” and “Slow Cookin’.” That has led to two critically acclaimed albums, numerous festival appearances, nationwide touring, and an Apple Music Radio show, increasing his visibility.
