Privacy policy

Plain terms for a Nashville night.

MMMC Live is built to help you find shows, save a plan, get useful nudges, and redeem venue deals. We do not sell your data, and we do not build a surveillance trail around your night out.

Draft for launch review - July 2026

This is an accurate product draft grounded in the current codebase. Max should review it before treating it as final legal advice.

What we collect

  • Account sign-in. If you sign in, Supabase Auth handles the session. We support Google, Apple, and email sign-in links. Your account can include an email address, display name, avatar, and role flags needed to run the app.
  • Guest saves before sign-in. If you save a show, claim a deal, start a route, join a plan, or set taste picks as a guest, the app can hold that action on your device and merge it into your account after sign-in.
  • Your plan and preferences. Saved shows, follows, taste settings, home neighborhood, travel mode, sharing visibility, notification preferences, and similar app settings are stored so the product works across devices.
  • Notifications. Web Push is opt-in. We store the push subscription for your signed-in account, let you choose channels by notification type, and delete the browser endpoint when you turn push off or the provider says it is gone.
  • Deal wallet activity. If you claim a deal, we store the claim. At the door, the scanner records one redemption for that claim, the venue/place, the scanner actor, and the audit information needed to prevent duplicate redemptions.
  • First-party counts. We record first-party view, share, embed-load, claim, save, follow, and scanner counts so partners can see whether their pages and deals are working.

Location

For regular fans, location is opt-in and used for immediate features such as centering the map or finding nearby deals. That location request is for the session: it ends with the night.

Our commitment: no location trails. We do not store a fan-by-fan path through Nashville. Fan-facing map and deal features use the browser location reading to return nearby venue results, then move on.

Crew and superadmin users are different because they may be working an event. The crew map can write live location for team accounts only, and those rows are temporary.

Analytics

MMMC Live uses first-party analytics, not a data broker. For reach counts, the server may use a daily salted hash of IP address and user agent to count distinct viewers without storing the raw IP address for that counter.

Partner embeds are keyed, rate-limited, attributed as powered by MMMC Live, and counted for partner usage. The public widget shows public event data; it is not a hidden user tracker.

Payments

Stripe billing exists in the code for boosted placement when payment credentials are configured. Deal redemption billing is honest-pending in the app today: the scanner can record a redemption, and the response says billing happens once payments go live.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • We do not store fan location trails.
  • We do not post to your social accounts.
  • We do not pretend a deal was redeemed until the door flow records it.
  • We do not expose private maybes when you share a plan; sharing surfaces are built around confirmed stops.
